Physiotherapy

A 1:1 individualized physical therapy evaluation focused on establishing your history, determining your needs, and creating a treatment plan.


Recovery Therapy

30 or 60 minute session focused on the recovery tool(s) that work best for you and your body - includes options for cupping, taping, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization (scraping), and dry needling.


Coaching

A 1:1 coaching session focused on maximizing performance. This can include form analysis, establishing a performance-based training plan (ie half-marathon training, progressive resistance training), and other professional exercise guidance that does not include traditional physical therapy.


Telehealth

Telehealth options - these sessions are virtual. For physical therapy, you are acknowledging that you are physically located in the state of NC during the time of this appointment. For wellness/training visits, your location can be whatever is convenient.


In-Home Treatment

Options for in-home sessions for physical therapy or training.


Consulting

This includes speaking events, teaching engagements, or group consulting for provider development purposes.

Erin is a graduate of the University of South Carolina with a major in Exercise Science and a minor in Psychology. Her love of football lead her to USC where she was a Gamecock cheerleader. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2013. Following graduation, she returned to Charlotte where she was born and raised.

She has specialized training through the Postural Restoration Institute as well as certifications and training in dry needling and Graston. Erin has a special interest in treating spinal conditions with an emerging interest utilizing the John F Barnes Myofascial Release approach. She has extensive experience in the management of chronic conditions and is committed to helping each person improve both physically and emotionally.

She is married to her high school sweetheart, Trey Hopper, and they have 2 young boys, Jackson and Davis. While away from the clinic, she enjoys cheering on the Carolina Panthers and spending warm days on Lake Wylie.

Rachel graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology with her bachelors degree in chemistry. She then went on to Mercer University where she earned her doctorate in physical therapy. Since then, she has attended post-graduate training for certification in dry needling through the Spinal Manipulation Institute and achieved the title of certified strength and conditioning coach as well as performance and sport scientist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association.

After having her first child and realizing the desperate need for improved pre- and postnatal rehab recommendations, she underwent additional training through the Herman and Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute to specialize in pelvic health physical therapy and has completed over 100 hours of continuing education specific to running.

She has appeared on multiple podcasts including “Mom Break,” “Run the Race,” “Strength Running Podcast,” “Run with Fitpage,” and “Practice Brave” and is the lead author of the first ever peer-reviewed rehabilitation protocol for pregnant and postpartum athletes which was recently published in the International Journal of Sports Physical Therapy.

She is continuously working to ensure that athleticism and motherhood do not have to be mutually exclusive both for herself and for her patients.
